CRAWLING IN FAITH

Just as we learn to crawl before we can walk, we believe that the foundation for growing in our faith is understanding who God is!

Jesus said that the most important thing we could ever do is LOVE! 1 John 4:19 says “We love because He first loved us.” God loves us so much! He knows everything about us, including what makes us happy and sad. God sent His son, Jesus, to live with us on earth - to laugh and play with us and to teach us the best way to live! Who is God? God is LOVE!

WALKING IN FAITH

What is the Bible? These Kindergarten brains are getting bigger and bigger each week as we learn more and more about the Bible!

God had promised his people a savior. It had taken generations of patience and trust, but it was finally time! God was ready! And He wanted His people to be ready, too! This month, our Kindergarteners will learn just how God helped everyone prepare for Jesus’ ministry on earth (and how we can remember all of his good work today)!

FEBRUARY GROW KIDS SERIES: CAMP BELIEVE IT
A FOUR-WEEK SERIES ON JESUS’ EARLY MINISTRY

People love camping, and for good reason! You can take in nature, practice special skills, or just take time to relax in a new environment. And when it comes to camping, no one loved it as much as John the Baptist. In this 4-week series, kids will hear about John the Baptist's special role in preparing the way for Jesus and his ministry. John's story will help kids to say their camp motto, "I believe God gives me purpose. I believe God can speak to me. I believe God is powerful. I believe God's words are true.”

SPRINTING IN FAITH

What does it mean to follow Jesus? What does it look like? What does it feel like? God sent His spirit to live with all who believe in Him, and promised that it would help us answer tough questions like these!

The Bible talks about love a lot. In fact, Jesus himself says that loving God is the greatest commandment and the second greatest is to love our neighbor as ourselves. (Matthew 22:37-40) Jesus showed us how important he believed love is when he ate with sinners, when he cared for the sick and the hurting, and when he died on the cross to make a way for us in Heaven.

So, how can we love people like Jesus did? What does it mean to ‘love ourselves’ and why is that important? We’ll talk through questions like these and more this month as we learn about LOVE as a Fruit of the Spirit.
